Both sizes run a 2000W pure sine wave inverter with three 10A GPOs and built-in RCD protection, charged by 2 x 100W solar panels, a 30A smart 9-stage charger through a 15A Clipsal inlet, or two 50A Anderson plugs. You also get a fridge slide with power access, 12V strip lighting, a JSD-530 Bluetooth headunit, checker plate floors and guards, a 50mm solid axle rated to 3.5T, and 265/75R16 all-terrain tyres on Alloy XD 16 inch rims.
Pick the 8x5 if your loads fit a 2400mm L x 1400mm W rack and you want the lighter trailer at 1600kg tare. Step up to the 10x5 Tradesman XXL for a 3000mm L x 1400mm W rack, extended rack dimensions of 4220mm L x 1000mm W and a 75L water tank, at 1800kg tare. Both come in black, white or silver, carry a 3-year structural warranty and are delivered Australia-wide.

If you regularly carry long material, the 10x5 gives you 600mm more rack length (3000mm vs 2400mm) and a longer extended rack (4220mm vs 3620mm), plus 75L of water instead of 70L. The 8x5 is 200kg lighter at tare (1600kg vs 1800kg). Both share the same drawers, compartments and power system.
Your vehicle must be rated to tow at least the trailer's aggregate trailer mass (ATM), shown on the compliance plate. Tare is 1600kg for the 8x5 and 1800kg for the 10x5 before you load anything. Check your vehicle's towing capacity and tow ball rating in the owner's manual.
Yes. Both the 8x5 and the 10x5 have 4-wheel electric drum brakes, so your tow vehicle needs an electric brake controller installed before you hit the road. Talk to our team if you need one fitted.
Both tradesman trailers come with a 3-year structural warranty from the date of original purchase, covering defective materials or workmanship. Wearable parts such as the jockey wheel, bearings, tyres, wheels and brake pads are excluded. See our Warranty page for full terms.
