The XL Combo Tradie Trailer puts a lockable toolbox, a 1.5m x 1.5m rear tray and a tradesman rack on one 10x5 dual-axle trailer. Tools go in the 1.5m x 1.5m toolbox, with shelving, drawers, lockable compartments and underfloor storage to keep gear organised and secure. Behind it, a 1.5m x 1.5m rear tray takes bulkier items. Up top, the 1400mm x 1400mm tradesman rack extends to 3900mm long by 1000mm wide for pipe, timber and ladders. A fridge slide with direct power takes a fridge of up to 90L, so food and drinks stay cold on site.
A 100W, 18V monocrystalline solar panel feeds a 20A PWM 12V/24V controller and 2 x 100Ah sealed lead acid batteries. A 2000W pure sine wave inverter with in-rush current protection runs 3 x 10A GPOs for tools and devices. Plug in at the yard through the 15A Clipsal inlet and the 30A smart 9-stage charger tops the batteries up. You also get 2 x 50A Anderson plugs, RCD protection, an EMS and 12V strip lighting.
The trailer sits on a galvanised steel RHS frame with a high-strength 50mm solid axle rated to 3.5T and 8-leaf rocker roller suspension for steady towing over rough ground. It rolls on Alloy XD Series 16" rims with 265/75R16 all-terrain tyres, and stops with 4 wheel electric drum brakes and a park brake. Coupling is a 50mm tow ball with 2 x 12mm safety chains compliant with AS 4177.4 - 1994. Choose black, white or silver.
Both are rated at 3400kg and share the same running gear, toolbox, batteries and inverter. The XL is the 10x5 model with a 1300kg tare, one 100W solar panel, a 1.5m x 1.5m rear tray and an extended rack of 3900mm x 1000mm. The XXL is the 13x5 model with a 1400kg tare, two 100W panels, a 2.4m x 1.5m rear tray and a 4800mm x 1000mm extended rack.
Your vehicle must be rated to tow at least the trailer's 3400kg aggregate trailer mass, with a 50mm tow ball. The 4 wheel electric drum brakes also need an electric brake controller fitted to the tow vehicle. If you are unsure about your vehicle, call us on 1300 798 100 before you buy.
Yes. The 2000W pure sine wave inverter supplies 3 x 10A GPOs, powered by 2 x 100Ah batteries that are charged by the 100W solar panel or by the 30A smart charger when you plug into mains through the 15A Clipsal inlet. How long the batteries last depends on what you run.
A 3-year structural warranty, valid from the date of original purchase. It covers defective materials or workmanship. Jockey wheel, bearings, tyres, wheels, brake pads and wearable parts are excluded. See our Warranty page for full terms.
