The XXL Combo Tradie Trailer is our 13x5 combo, built for tradies who need more tray and more rack. It pairs a 1.5m x 1.5m toolbox with a 2.4m x 1.5m rear tray and a tradesman rack that extends to 4800mm long. It is a galvanised steel and aluminium heavy duty build, rated at 3400kg with a 1400kg tare, and runs on two 100W solar panels, 2 x 100Ah batteries and a 2000W inverter.

The 2.4m x 1.5m rear tray gives you room for bulky gear, while the 1.5m x 1.5m toolbox keeps tools locked away. The 1400mm x 1400mm tradesman rack extends to 4800mm long by 1000mm wide, so long lengths of pipe, conduit and timber ride on top. Inside you get underfloor storage, multiple locks inside and outside, and a heavy duty steel fridge slide near the entry door that takes a fridge of up to 90 litres.
Two 100W, 18V monocrystalline solar panels feed a 20A PWM 12V/24V controller and 2 x 100Ah sealed lead acid batteries. A 2000W pure sine wave inverter with in-rush current protection runs 3 x 10A GPOs, and the 30A smart 9-stage charger tops up the batteries through the 15A Clipsal inlet when you are on mains. There are 2 x 50A Anderson plugs, RCD protection and 12V strip lighting for early starts and late finishes.
A galvanised steel RHS frame sits on a high-strength 50mm solid axle rated to 3.5T with 8-leaf rocker roller suspension for stable towing over rough terrain. Alloy XD Series 16" rims and 265/75R16 all-terrain tyres handle gutters and site tracks. The dual axle lets the trailer stand on its own when unhooked, and 4 wheel electric drum brakes with a park brake hold it on hills. Available in black, white or silver.
Both are rated at 3400kg with the same axle, suspension, wheels, brakes, toolbox, batteries and inverter. The XXL is the 13x5 model with a 1400kg tare, two 100W solar panels, a 2.4m x 1.5m rear tray and a 4800mm x 1000mm extended rack. The XL is the 10x5 model with a 1300kg tare, one 100W panel, a 1.5m x 1.5m rear tray and a 3900mm x 1000mm extended rack.
Your vehicle must be rated to tow at least the trailer's 3400kg aggregate trailer mass, using a 50mm tow ball. The 4 wheel electric drum brakes need an electric brake controller fitted to the tow vehicle. Call us on 1300 798 100 if you want to check your setup.
The heavy duty steel fridge slide accommodates a fridge of up to 90 litres and has direct power, so it can run off the trailer's batteries.
